Silk and wool plaid bags should be dry cleaned.

Cotton print, Cotton embroidered and Faux leather bags can be spot cleaned - just a bit of warm water and a little gentle detergent on the soiled area.

Ultrasuede bags can be machine washed - cold water, hang to dry.

Checks should be made out to Tarte. Please note personal and bank checks must be cleared by our bank prior to your order being shipped.

Sales Tax
New Jersey State residents will be charged a sales tax of 7%. Everyone else - tax free. Yippee!

Shipping Policy
Faux Leather bags will be shipped within 3 business days. We will advise you via email or phone if there will be any delay.

Silk, Ultrasuede, Linen and Cotton Print bags are usually made to order. Bags that are in stock will be shipped out within 3 business days. Bags that are made to order will be shipped within 2-3 weeks. We will give you an exact ship date within 2 days of order placement. If you need a rush on your order, please let us know.

Return Policy:
If you are not completely satisfied with your Tarte handbag, please contact us within 14 days of the delivery date to request a return authorization. You may exchange or return your handbag for a full refund minus shipping charges. Merchandise must be returned new and in saleable condition, with all hangtags and accessories. Please also include a copy of all shipping documents. Items returned used or without prior written authorization will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Please note we will not be held responsible for any items lost during return shipping. We suggest you ship via a traceable method. Please ship pre-paid (no COD’s accepted), and securely wrap all items.

Defects
We guarantee the quality of all our handbags and handbag accessory items. If upon receipt, you find a defect in your Tarte handbag, please contact us within 30 days for an exchange or full refund including shipping charges. This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, improper care, alteration, damage due to beating off a purse snatcher and excludes claims for incidental or consequential loss or damage.
